Hi all,

Newby here! We are currently in the process of buying a Victorian house with a walled garden with a further 7 acres sts which is registered as a small holding it has been used by the current owner as a rare breeds farm. There are several fenced paddocks a 1 acre lake an agricultural barn and a wooded area. The sale of our current property fell through so this will be a second property meaning we will be stung by increased stamp duty. If we intend to grow vegetables keep chickens and bees and sell our produce would this property be classed as mixed use. I have called HMRC and they don't know!?! Can anyone advise??
