Shearer wanted in North Devon
« on: June 05, 2016, 08:24:12 am »
Yet another plea for a shearer -this time in North Devon. I have been let down twice by people who said they would do my small flock of 9 sheep but just haven't materialised. I really need to have them sheared ASAP. The weather here is very warm (at last) and I would like to Crovect them just before I go on holiday in 3 weeks. I cannot ask my sheep sitter to do that. Can anybody out there help please. Unfortunately there is no power in the shed so it's either 12v clippers, by hand or a generator.
Many thanks.

Have you tried asking through DASH (Devon smallholders)?

It might be worth placing an ad on facebook and twitter
