I've always found that cats are quite selective and probably wouldn't eat food that was stale enough to cause an upset.

Might be worth getting your cat checked if symptoms return or if the cat is at all off colour in any way. Cats seem to go down hill quite quickly ..... best to get checked.

We definitely will if she has any more problems we have a new vet now, and they were very concerned. They said if she shows any signs of all of being sick again to bring her in immediately.   I thought that cats wouldn't eat food if it was bad either but I guess one bad thing is our pepper has never been fussy about food she just eats whatever is in her dish.  But it good also because she really likes her new food too. She hasn't puked since last Monday so we are hoping we found the reason :fc:
