Laced Wyandotte L/F Hatching Eggs
« on: May 04, 2016, 12:17:29 pm »
First hatch has gone well and so now we have hatching eggs available for sale.  These will be a mix of Blue-, Buff- and Gold-Laced.  Been running a closed flock for years and only breed from the best birds, although not necessarily those with show quality lacing but always good comb, wattle and tail shape, yellow legs, no feather stubs on the legs and, above all, 100% healthy all their lives.  Current breeding stock includes two birds that gained a 1st and a 3rd at the Royal Three Counties last year.  Eggs can be collected (Herefordshire) or posted.  They will have been collected in the previous three days, correctly stored and turned and be posted at the beginning of the week rather than risk them lying around in a sorting office over the weekend.  Please PM me for further details.

Excellent results reported from eggs hatched so far - I will be running the main breeding group for four more weeks only.

My three year old birds are presently laying an average of 5 eggs a week. The younger birds slightly more.  They will slow down in Winter and stop for the moult, of course.  I'll try and take a decent photo or two over the weekend.

Unfortunately the photographs came out at 3.23MB and the forum accepts only 1024KB maximum.  This was the smallest size my Edit facility could reduce to - I've just tried the next size up and that's too large.  If you PM me with your e:mail address I'll attach the photos to that.
