Hi

Just wondering if anyone knows of someone able to trim goats hooves in the Bacup area of Lancashire? There are 4 goats, any suggestions would be great.

Thanks for your help

As no one else has made suggestions, I would ask at your local goat club and smallholding group.  If no luck, either cattle hoof trimmer (try Farm supplies shop) or farrier might help. The goaty friends Facebook page is a useful place to ask, or look at the posts/info files they have.

I have never heard of a goatkeeper getting someone in to do their goats' feet..., unless other gooatkeeper friend to help older person with arthritic hands/wrists.

There are loads of utube videos to learn from.

Sadly goatkeepers seem to be getting older! I know a few who now get help especially for large billies with hard hooves.
