Advice please!

I have been offered, by a friend of mine, some used rabbit hutches for keeping a broody hen in. They have recently sold the rabbits. If I disinfected the hutches would they be OK to put my hen in? I remember being told by someone that rabbits carried a certain disease which could be passed onto chickens, should I worry about that? My friends rabbits were very healthy.

I would creosote it anyway - keeps the red mites away!
