RIP Leo
« on: November 26, 2015, 03:34:02 pm »
Very sad to hear today that our old tup, Leo (Fetternear Lionheart) died today. He was born in 2009 and we bought him from his breeder, Raymond Aitken, in 2010 - our first ever tup. He was with us for two years then our friends bought him to run with their Mule ewes. This gave him a home for life as they don't retain any ewe lambs. Alistair said the other day he'd lost a bit of condition and was getting some extra feed, but turns out he had an abdominal tumour, bless him. He was dead in the field this morning. Hopefully, he has left his little flock in lamb. He was such a good natured big polar bear. RIP Leo. :hugsheep:

That is sad news but it sounds as though he had a peaceful end, and he will live on in his sons and daughters.
