picked this up from the library van the other day and had it finished over a couple of nights, just one more chapter I heard myself saying each night 

Lovely easy book, warts and all, narrative of a newly qualified vet. So many familiar situations, lambing, calving etc and interesting to hear things from the vet's point of view, worth a read on a cold dark night and plenty of them ahead!
