Saying Hello

Hello,

New member just checking in. I live and grew up in the New England area of the USA. I had the opportunity to attend an agricultural high school where my course of study was forestry and land management. Due to other factors I was unable to continue in my studies after and ended up working for the last 35 years in manufacturing. I married my wife in 1999 and we have 3 children that are now 14, 13, and 10. My wife is a veterinarian and works mostly with small animals.

A few years ago we got some laying hens and the rest is history. We have added keeping goats, broiler chickens, turkeys and now pigs to our small home.

Welcome.  I have relatives in Maine and bits of New England really are lovely.
