I thought it was a suspicious email

I often get emails that say just open the attachment and you will find that you have won xxxxxx....... invariably they don't get opened and I delete them.


Well, a couple of weeks ago I got an email from Poundland saying I had won a mini ipad. It didn't quite fit the usual format so I read on. I had done a free competition with them too, and guess what??? it was genuine  :)


My ipad arrived this week and I am chuffed to bits with it. Just about to go and make a felted case for it now.

I didn't have to do anything MGM, other than register my receipt on line. I suspect that few people actually take part so those that do probably stand a good chance of winning.

We felt similar after getting 1000 unsolicited phone calls about PPI reclaims (we thought we didn't qualify anyway) and then arrived the letter from the building society saying that we did  :excited: :excited: :excited:

I have - nothing coming as they don't go back further than 1988 and i was wiser by then!  :rant:
