The event is at Thainstone Mart and a major event with thousands of people attending.

It celebrates all foods available in Grampian with lots of stands selling their product.

It gives people a chance to get various products which are normally only available at certain markets.

There is also well known chefs cooking demonstrations being held.

If you are going remember to take lots of cash as the products available are fantastic and sure you will go home with lots of goodie!

We went a few years ago, a great event for buying food to take home but sadly awful for eating there - at the time only the company with the catering contract at the mart was allowed to sell food to eat, so it was vans selling burgers, fish and chips or pork rolls.

Such a shame, could be a great event - it showcases the best of Scottish food but you can't eat it there.

If it's the same setup this year it's still well worth a visit, just take a picnic for lunch.   ;)

Hope you have a great day Castlehill!

Looks like the have upped the food available to eat on the day!

There is a section called STREET FOOD with the usual burgers, sannies and someone selling lamb dishes and steak sannies and others selling food to eat.

Hope this helps people looking to snack while spending their hard earned money.
