Nearly time for Wonderwool.  :excited: :excited:

I'm looking forward to seeing Sally (Bionic) again and meeting Louise Gaunt and her daughter for the first time on Saturday. Anyone else going who would like to meet up there? We have decided on 2pm for a meet and a cuppa.

It's looking like I won't get there this year.  The ewe that I'm waiting for has a huge udder, is huffing and puffing in the sun but not really looking like lambing quite yet.  Her owner did say she thought it might be wonderwool weekend.

Louise - If you go to the Shetland sheep stall Jane will give you good advise about buying fleeces.
Always spread them out to look properly and don't be afraid to say no once you have.

I've probably spent enough on craft things recently and have enough fleeces to keep me going for a long time.

That's a shame. Hope she produces very soon for both your sakes.

Oh well looks like I'm not going.

She's looking close and I got up to check her at 2am last night and will again tonight so even if she hasn't lambed I'll be too shattered to go to Wonderwool this year.

Have fun everyone    and don't spend TOO much. :innocent:

I'll be there tomorrow along with my daughter, we're going with my spinning group.

Would love to meet up and see yourself and Sally again and to meet other new faces.  See you're meeting at 2.00, whereabouts?
