Brinsea Ecoglow - risk in touching card?
« on: April 17, 2015, 08:43:13 pm »
We've had to seperate a chick, and seeing as we only have the one brooder ice made a little house from a shoe box and cut down the sides to fit under the ecoglow.

Is this a fire risk? I know it would be under a normal heat lamp but they say these don't get too hot to touch. Has anyone done similar?

Thanks

I doubt it gets anywhere near hot enough. Considering the chicks press their backs against it
