Just got my skins back

My sheepskins came back from tanning today and I just want to stroke them  :love: . OH doesn't get it  ::)
Our holding has Anglo Nubian and British Toggenburg goats, Gotland sheep, Franconian Geese, Blue Swedish ducks, a whole load of mongrel hens and two semi-feral children.

Nicki Port who does the organic tanning.

£42 each as they were pretty big

I got mine done there and am mostly pleased with them. One of the brown Shetlands was fairly felted up, but not sure if the wool structure was just too fine or something.

But the Gotland x Shetland ones are lovely.

These are Gotland x Shetland skins? Mine are similar. I can't wait until I get my grey ones to the tannery this autumn....

Yes Gotland x Shetland. Ended up with lots of pale boys last year

I had my Ryelands done at Nikki Ports. Very pleased with them. Mine were £35 each as they were lambs.
Life is like a bowl of cherries, mostly yummy but some dodgy bits
