How much meal should 3-4 month old calves get daily? They have Adlib hay and water and i was wondering how much meal would be best?

I don't wean my calves until they are capable of cleaning up a scoop (about 2kgs) of cake each in twenty minutes.

I then give them an extra scoop a day when they are weaned to replace the milk they are no longer getting.

Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
