Have we turned the corner?
« on: March 05, 2015, 09:26:33 am »
Following on from my post over the weekend I was pleasantly surprised to find this strong family group waiting for me this morning.

Faith is restored in my flock and myself!

That's great news! Glad things are on the up for you after such an upsetting start.

Great  :)

Nice lambs

We've started this morning too.

Triplets, of course.  ::)  Thankfully all three took a top-up, so fingers crossed she'll manage, albeit she may need a little help ;)

Unfortunately not, that one ended up having twin stillborns and is still looking sick herself, I think she has a long road or a short life ahead of her.

Great  :)

We also have had triplets, second to be born!

Bonny lambs!

A neighbour - in fact, the one who bred the ewe - has just asked if he could have a spare lamb for one of his has had two stillborn, so our 3 is now a pair - result all round  :)

That ewe has a habit of having triplets, and she does a good job of rearing them herself.

In fact they are already out playing with the month old Dorset singles!  :excited:
