Hi everyone thank you for accepting me to the forum I am thinking of setting up my own small holding I have 4 acres of land n could do with some advice on how best 2 plan things like size of pig/sheep pens rotation of livestock etc thank you for any info in advance

first thing I suppose is what do you see yourself keeping? Any previous experience? Any outbuildings? Do you want to be able to eat what you produce? is it suitably fenced?....for more specific info on pigs, sheep etc you'd be better posting directly on to that Topic page, livestock rotation is always a hot topic  ;D

keeper of goats, sheep, pigs, ducks, chickens, turkeys, dogs, cats, goldfish and children, just don't ask me which is the most work!

I don't have enough experience to advise on size etc but welcome to the forum
