What do you think about using wheat intended for chickens being used to grow wheat grass for our (human) use?

What do you want to use the wheat grass for?  Different seed varieties will produce different types of crops.

Cant see why not. Wheat grass is seen as a medicinal superfood , high in antioxidants and nutrients. It contains iron, calcium, magnesium, vitamin A (as beta-carotene), vitamin C and vitamin E.
we put all sorts in our Nutri Ninja to make smoothies

Yes, it'll be fine. In fact any type of feed wheat will do as it won't have any treatment on it.
Don't be tempted to use seed wheat, as that is treated with all sorts of pesticides.

Great - I started 2 small containers yesterday - will try 1 in the heated chamber and 1 in the cold greenhouse. Thanks for the advice.
