My wife has just seen an advert on tv with swimming pigs and asked  me the inevitable question. Has anyone ever seen a pig swim?

Where my parents live in Germany the wild boar access the gardens by swimming across the lake.... (their garden borders the lake directly and they are not allowed to put up a proper fence on that side, due to "environmental" reasons... )

So yes, pigs do swim quite well.
