outmaneuvered by pigs...again!
« on: January 11, 2015, 06:56:59 pm »
I have two 5 month old Tamworths currently rotovating my vegetable patch and they are having a grand old time. Today I was startled to see purplish/red mark on one of their faces. And spotted several more as I watched them eating. Had a minor panic thinking they were raised patches or lesions and the dreaded ery. That was until I walked across the patch to my truck to get my headtorch and came across a small pile of half-munched beetroot they have clearly uncovered when rooting. Little horrors, but they do make me laugh  :roflanim:

They are meant to be there, right?  :o

Yes! It's a very large veg patch and got really overgrown on one side so they're on clearance duty! But they're showing me up on my 'meticulous harvesting' as the beetroot discovery reveals  :-J
