The past in pictures

For any that love looking at old pictures , 'a country camera 1844-1914' by Gordon Winter , is really excellent .
Has many very early pics of country folk from the late 1800's .
One pic from 1857 , is of a Robert Morvinson at the age of 82 , he was born in 1775 !
That blows my mind completely  .
The book is available in h/b and s/b from amazon for 1p + p+p @ £2.80 .
I have had my copy for some 30 years now , but never tire of looking directly into another time .

Wish it was on kindle, I can't hold up a book in bed where I do all my reading
