planting an orchard

going down today, to start prepping the ground,for the new cider apple orchard  :excited:
got 30 cider apples plus a crab apple
and
2 eating 2 cookers
2 pears, 2 plums and a cheery  :thumbsup:

I love my orchard. When we moved in it was just 2 apples (1 not really productive) a pear, a plum (both also a bit shy to produce) and a cherry (fab if you can beat the birds to them). Now we have 4 apples 2 cherries, 2 plums,a greengage, a medlar and a quince. Most are still pretty young and just starting to crop but all very exciting.

With 1 Angora and now 6 pygmy goats, Jacob & Icelandic sheep, chooks, a cat and my very own Duracell bunny aka BH !
