Land wanted near Dunfermline
« on: January 07, 2010, 12:17:48 am »
I would love to rent (or buy) a piece of land in West Fife, purely to walk and train my own 2 dogs on.  I am teaching them distance work and it's hopeless trying to do that in a park with other people's dogs trying to join in!  The more space we have, the better, but the condition of the land itself doesn't matter (wooded, hilly, marshy - we don't mind!).  I'd like it to be at least partially fenced though, and with reasonable road access.  Has anyone got anything they think we could use?

Oh well spotted - I thought I'd seen all the bits of land for sale round here!  I've emailed Bradburnes, so, fingers crossed.

Thanks again, I really appreciate that.

I've been looking for the same - but £40K is out of my reach - would you consider allowing me to use it with my dogs for a fee?

40k for 3k's worth of land! Thats either an early april fools - or there's a good chance of planning being granted!

My thoughts exactly!  Rather too expensive for me to buy, but I've asked if I can rent it until it's sold - maybe they'll be happy to have some money coming in for it in the meantime.

Not sure about that - depends if its new on or not - land at Tillycoultry sold pretty quick - that was 3 acres for £14K I think but no chance of residential planning

Yeah, but I think the average cost for "normal" land without planning permission is about £4000 per acre - this bit is offers over £40k for one acre.  I'll wait & see what the reply is anyway.
