TAS Community are fantastic!
« on: October 25, 2014, 12:48:45 pm »
I just wanted to highlight the great community spirit found on this site.  We recently travelled up to Scotland looking at property after having previously posted a few questions on the forum here.  As a result of those forum posts we were invited to visit Wellside Croft, the home of Kirsty, Mark and family.  (https://www.facebook.com/WellsideCroft/)

We managed to find them(!) and met the nicest guys you could imagine, we where then treated to a wonderful 2 1/2 hours of smallholding experience and a fantastic tour of the land and work in progress.  We would have stayed longer but for the urgent need to hit the Highlands for our next days property viewing.

Once again guys, many thanks for the chance to visit a real life smallholding and meet some fantastic friends!
Hope to see you once we get our place going :-)

Hi Rosemary,
We had a great trip up and have just been back for a second viewing of one property but have our eyes on another also.  We probably have not found exactly what we are looking for but our recent trips to Scotland have been a great help in helping us decide what we want.
All the best,
Mickey
