Hello from the middle of the country
« on: October 24, 2014, 06:17:52 pm »
Hi,

My name is Niels Corfield. I'm a designer, nurseryman, landscaper and teacher, based in Leeds.
I work with individuals and groups managing a variety of spaces from gardens to small farms, with smallholdings in between. Working to help them select the most suitable solutions for their needs, from livestock to waste management through to water systems and tree/plant systems, that are: time saving, low-cost and generate incomes from land.

I'd be happy to answer questions on the forums that people have about nurseries and propagation, mushroom growing, scything etc.

Have a look at this video on fruit tree grafting we shot, just posted today, made by Vertical Veg. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSbUnv3A4X0&feature=youtu.be

That's all for now. Enjoy the "autumn"

Welcome from Aberdeenshire

Funnily enough I was just having a conversation with OH at dinner time about how we needed to start growing our own mushrooms  ;D
Our holding has Anglo Nubian and British Toggenburg goats, Gotland sheep, Franconian Geese, Blue Swedish ducks, a whole load of mongrel hens and two semi-feral children.
