Fasinex and panacur
« on: October 18, 2014, 11:29:43 am »
My girls need routine fluke drenching and I have also seen some tape worm. Got some panacure and Fasinex from the vet yesterday. Can I give them one after the other?
Vet said it would be ok as combinex is a combined flukicide and wormer so based on that she doesn't think there would be a problem, but I have just seen on Noah - panacur, do not mix with other products. Not exactly sure if this means mix in the real sense of the word or if giving one after the other means mix.

Can anyone enlighten me please?

Say two weeks between each drench?

I use both on lambs in autumn same time. Never had an adverse reaction on Jacobs.

Well I did the panacur this afternoon. I will wait a week or two before I give them the Fasinex.

Its fine to give them at the same time. But don't physically mix the 2 products before administering.
