Brief intro: greetings from a couple who have spent the last 15 years on Borneo and have now returned home to the Inner Hebrides. So happy to have seasons again and decent cheese, meat, ale, whisky, etc&etc. And we can get out into the hills without looking out for snakes! Or carrying litres of water! Pleased to be back. looking forward to building up our garden, veg patch, polytunnel and livestock.

Welcome from Caithness. I'm sure there will come a time when you miss the warmth and of course there are plenty of tiny flying creatures out west there intent on eating you alive! At least on this side of the country there's usually enough wind to keep them at bay!

Hello and welcome from Skye. I had an uncle who managed a rubber plantation in Borneo in the 1950's. Some great stories........

Hi there & welcome

We're just back today from a week in the Outer Hebrides - it was ace. The inner Heb's are just as good.
