Bluebell and the piglets are doing very well. The piglets even ventured out into the sunshine briefly yesterday.

I'll try and post a couple of pictures.

It is a wonderful litter - Our last GOS babies are now 8 weeks old and are
still very watchable - its a full time job, they are always up to something
and are so cute

Hope you all have a very merry christmas - you will soon be handfeeding them
lettuce leaves and stuff - great fun. Ours love to play football.

OK....so I have a new camera and feeling like a new Mum showing off her babies!!!

The pictures seem to be very deceiving. Most of the pigs are swimming in mud. I've put down 'walkways' of shuttering ply over the mud for me to get into the pens to keep the straw fresh in the arks. A layer of straw over the top stops them getting too slippery for the pigs. An added bonus, in the farrowing area, is that the piglets can walk about without having to put their wellies and armbands on
