Hebridean Ram
« on: September 22, 2014, 08:52:35 pm »
Hi
I have got a pair of heb ewes and was wanting to put a tup to them this year as they're fully grown and mature but I cant find an unrelated tup for them as the breeder has sold his only unrelated one and I'm kind off stuck. If anybody has a heb tup for hire whenever possible but preferably about November time. If possible a two horned tup but any will do. I live near Peebles and can't travel to far.
Thanks.

Hi,
Does it need to be registered?
I have an unregistered 4 horn 2 shear tup you could use, I'm just over 20 miles from you.

No as this set of lambs are just to make the field look good and maybe the freezer.

Hi,
Then if you don't mind using a four horn tup, ( not all the lambs are born four horned ) you are more than welcome to use him.

Hi zwartbles123,
Disaster has struck, I'm afraid, the tup got kicked by a horse, and had his leg broken, unfortunately he has been put to sleep.
I am sorry to have to let you down.
Hopefully you can find another tup to use.
Regards

Ok thanks will try I think I have found a backup plan and just not breed from some ewes as they are related.
