And so the count down begins!

This morning I sponged the ewes including two Shetland ewes (will keep you posted on how this will work)

I must say I did get some very good advice and I'm so sorry I cant remember who told me but pointing it towards the backbone slightly upwards was very helpful but a word of warning to anyone doing this for the first time like myself. Doing a first timer was not easy!! They are very tight, Do not like this thing being inserted (cant blame them really) and the actual target whole isn't very large!

 :fc: It all goes well and the count down begins... 16days till Nimrod and the ram lambs get to work!!

How much did the spongeing cost?

I am indeed! The sponges are 2 pounds each and with the PMSG injection works out at 4 pounds per head
