I'll second that. Chinese glazed belly is awesome. Why not dice it up and use it in a pasta dish or suchlike?

Yes, dice and use in other dishes.  With a touch of molasses or black treacle, loads of onions and some haricot beans it makes Boston Baked Beans  :yum:

Dice, cook long and slow so all the fat leaves, yummy on salads, soups, etc.

I'm going to try the Chinese glaze myself next time, sounds delish  :yum:

I'll second boston baked beans. Also...  hash! A few boiled potatoes, some sauteed onion, herbs, salt and pepper, a tomato or two if you feel like it, all in the frying pan with the chopped up pork.  :yum:  Fried egg on top for hash royale!

Second the shout for marinated belly strips
Also not for second meal but whole pieces can be defrosted and cured easily at home to make streaky bacon  :yum:

Now I'm hungry! Will give those ideas a go. Should have done the bacon, didn't think about it.

Home made lightly curried heinz baked beans with a twist of ground black pepper and once inch cubes of belly pork put in the beans once you have seal fried and boiled them so they are almost falling apart  with lightly buttered soft dark kale as a veg .. slurp !

Hmm. Sounds like there are a whole lot of creative cooks out there. Think we should create a TAS recipe book!
