Afternoon, can anyone in the Far North offer foot trimming for my Dexters or point me in the right direction.
I know there is North east hoof trimmers but I am not looking for commercial type boys (also I have in calf, so precludes turnover crates) I am looking for someone not unlike your typical farrier-calm/quiet etc. I have three cows that have never come back after rough handling by local farmers providing assistance.
I have a good crush with feet doors and belly straps.

Our vet has been known to trim feet  - and a very nice job he does too.

Ask your vet if they offer such a service - not cheap, but if they're coming for something else it saves the call out fee.

How far north? We recently had our two cows done by a mobile foot trimmer whose equipment is a rotating crush. We are near Fraserburgh.
