Annie, Blizzard's 2012 daughter, just gave birth to a red and white heifer. Pics to follow but my phone ran out of charge  ::)

Sorry if this is upside down again. ;D

No, Annie's black and white but out of a dun cow (Blizzard) by a grey sire (Collafirth Viking). Our bull is Hollins Storm, who's red and white.

Blizzard's bull calf is actually dark dun and white at the moment but I suspect he'll turn black - Annie was dun until she was a few months old then turned black.

Breeze has had two dun calves - both by black bulls (Stanemore Odin and your boy). She's still to calve.

She looks lovely! You must be very proud of your girls, they have produced fine looking calves! I went to Devon county show this week and met some Ryland sheep, I now know why you love them, they are splendid!

Rosie looks beautiful, even upside down ;)   Well done Annie :hugcow:
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
