Definitely a year for boys in the south. 10 boys and 5 girls. Lambs the opposite, only one boy and 10 girls! Sold 7 girls so severe shortage as got at least 6 orders for meat.

Boys here, too!!  Two pygmy males now6 weeks old.  On Tuesday, Poppy our sanaan x BA had a male  and a female, then Wytsend Cherry AN  had two males in the afternoon - only one girl so far!!  Also, no triplets, last kidding we had all triplets.

That's encouraging, Roxy. All I've heard of so far is triplets or even quads. I've told my girl that one is fine with me but I doubt she was listening.

Four kids born yesterday - 2 more male angoras but yippee twin boer girls !! Has now doubled our girl numbers !!!
The angora had triplets but the first one was still born - breach - she did well to get it out on her own - other two doing fine.
Yes lots of meat in the autumn me thinks!!

we've had all girls so far which I was dreading as I seem to get more attached to them than the boys which is going to make life difficult when it comes to sending them for meat  :( :(
