Hello more advice please if anyone can,

We have a pygmy kid who we had to hand rear, she is now 4 months old and back with the other mums in the stables eating hay etc.
The past few days she has looked like a little balloon with very bloated looking sides. she had the runs two days ago but this has now past, she is eating and moving around well, should I be worried and should I be doing anything?
Thanks in advance :)
Jane

Hard to say, but a goat eating lots of roughage can look very wide when the rumen is full, however bloat is a condition where they cant get rid of excess gas in the rumen and can kill. Since she's had the runs, her guts are clearly not at 100%, so id keep a close eye on her. Your vet could maybe put your mind at rest, or give you some treatment, otherwise id be thinking probiotics and keeping a very close eye on her.
all the best
