would you chuck out something like a loom?
« on: March 24, 2014, 11:15:13 am »
Does anyone watch Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners?  I sometimes do - I know, how sad of me  :roflanim:

Last night there was a lady who was very much into crafts and green living, but she also had a whole load of junk around.  Amongst all the clutter was a table loom and THEY MADE HER CHUCK OUT HER LOOM  ??? ???
Would any of you throw out something like that just for the sake of an empty house and a TV programme?  I much prefer my somewhat over-stuffed house but with plenty of hobbies and equipment to a sterile, empty house, which wouldn't be my home.
I so hope she stashed her loom close by then retrieved it as soon as the cameras had gone.

we often watch it... laughed at the "goats in the kitchen" episode a while back!
haven't seen that one yet, it'll be a "shout at the telly" episode for me then...

That's appalling. I've never seen the programme but wonder if people do retrieve their property later. NO one would make me throw out my looms, spinning wheels or an other crafty things.

Nope I wouldn't that's for sure.

And I agree with you FiB, so many other ways to clear out which don't involve the landfill.

Never, and certain members of my family would skin me alive if I did!
