I have rumpless tufted araucana and can do both tufted and non-tufted offspring. Should be gold duckwing but this breeding is a bit of an experiment this year.

They are hardy and good layers of blue and blue/green eggs.Available beginning of April.

South Lanarkshire-pretty close to Lawrie's at Biggar and commute to Penicuik 4/7.

Chickens:

Gold Laced LF Orpingtons (already laying and good fertility)
Buff LF Orpingtons (first egg today - will check fertility by end of March so should be available April)

Ducks:

Silver Appleyards (large) (starting to lay consistently well, want to double check fertility, probably good from April)
Cayugas (good to go from now)

Price for all will be £5 per half dozen plus £5 postage (polybox via Hermes).

I may have some West of England goose eggs available later in the season but I don't want to count my goslings before they hatch and I want to hatch as many as possible myself.

Photos of all available. All kept in large grass pens, organic food where possible (waterfowl breeders is not organic), happy, healthy birds.

My plan for this year is to be breeding Light Sussex and Cuckoo Marans from our chickens and Aylesbury and Khaki Campells from the ducks. I picked up a pair of Cayugas at the poultry auction yesterday so fingers crossed may have some of them too!

I've got Light Sussex but a laying strain. Cockerel is nicely marked but hens are not the larger pure breed. In a month or so I should have good Welsummer, Cream legbar (although current cockerel is not brilliant, looking for a better one) and also once I find a good enough boy I'll have some superb Rhode Reds, probably later in the year. I'm in South Devon.

We have commercial white Embden type geese too. Fertility was 100% last year, but not yet tested this year. Superb layers - roughly 4 eggs per week per bird, right through the spring / summer last year  .

Looking for some other geese to add to the flock this year - anything a bit more colourful than the Embdens, and about the same size. Perhaps some Steinbachers if goosepimple can ever find out where they're laying!  ;D
