Changing username - is it possible?
« on: January 10, 2014, 06:41:05 pm »
I picked mine a little late at night and now want to change it but I can't see an option in the Profile section. I can understand why it wouldn't be possible, let alone encouraged, but I do need to change it.

Anybody know the trick?

is it not on the profile section - modify profile - then delete and rewrite?

Keep dreich,  :gloomy: that has to be one of the best descriptive words ever

I was going to keep "flat" and add my first name but that's too close to "fat Pete" which may be accurate but it's not flattering.

Dreich Pete works for me - if I can change it.

Thanks for the tip. My username is the same but the name that shows has changed.

Yes, for anyone else wanting to change their visible username, follow this link:

www.accidentalsmallholder.net/forum/index.php?action=profile;area=account

The 'Name' field is what is shown against your posts and everywhere else on the forum, and you can change it yourself.

The 'Username' field is what you use to sign in to the site. We can change it for you if you want, but no-one else ever sees it.
