Would anyone like a tabletop loom?
« on: November 20, 2013, 03:19:35 pm »
One of my friends seems to have inherited a 1950's tabletop loom. Apparently it is a four shaft loom by Weavemaster. Would anyone like to buy it? I don't think she wants very much for it.

It is available for viewing at her place in south-west London or my place in Somerset. At a pinch, near Redruth in Cornwall. Alternatively, I'm sure she could send a photo.

Personally, I wouldn't touch an old Weavemaster even if it was free. I have had/had the use of several and the tension goes on them every time. You then end up with fabric that is wavy.

Thanks for posting this though.

Mmmmmm.....Interesting.  I will get back to my friend to see if she knows anything about its track record.

Is the loom still available?
Can you tell me what the condition is and where it could be viewed.  I live in Bristol
