In Hampshire, our price has just gone down (!!!!!) from £337 a tonne to £308, delivered in 20 kg bags.

BOCM farmgate sow/weaner in 20kg bags is £9.99 per bag at our local ag merchants Youch >:(  that just under £500/tonne.
I use a local mill but if you can get it on offer go for it, 20kg bags are much easier to hump around that than the 25kg bags i get.

Have had a problem with BOCM sow & weaner nuts that was bagged in humid weather.  If you open a bag and it smells musty/mouldy or the pellets stick together take it back.  Knew someone who had all her sows infertile and needing expensive hormone treatment before they'd get back in pig because of this.

That is an excellent price; wish I could get ours that low.  Re damp nuts, I've always found the ones I get delivered, 50 bags = 1 tonne at a time, are really fresh, straight from the factory, and none of these has ever been a problem.

This is not related to pig feed, but we had 8 tonnes of sheep feed bulk blown into our granary from BOCM Pauls, it was just dust (meant to be nuts), they were very helpful, sent two guys to shovel it all back out into the wagon, new delivery, just the same, MUCH less helpful and it all got quite difficult.  Was resolved in the end as the feed was clearly faulty, but was quite stressful.

Haygates seem to be cheapest but you need to order minimum of a tonne (can be mixed types) and need access for an arctic as delivered on a pallet.
