Tip: email notification of posts

If you don't visit the forum very often, or want immediate email notification when a new post is made in a particular topic, you might find the 'Notify' feature handy.

At the top and bottom of every topic is a link marked 'Notify' - click this and 'OK' the confirmation to 'subscribe' to the topic. You'll get an email whenever a new post is made in the topic.

Hi Dan,

This might be the right thread to post my question regarding notifications. They seem to be no longer coming in for the threads I have recently posted - or any posts I have posted to be precise. I checked my profile and all is the same, "receive notification by email...".
Do you have any idea why that could be? Do I now have to click the Notify button each time I post on a thread to get the notifocation? It might rectify the problem but I'd rather find out why they are no longer coming in first.... :&>

Looks like it's a problem with Yahoo! Anke, they are treating all email from our new server as spam.

Please leave it with me, I'll be working tomorrow and will try to get it sorted. Will report back.  :)

Makes sense, thanks, Dan. I also lost all emails from Groupon but nothing in the spam folder showing either. I can always change my email address for TAS, just keep me posted somehow ;) :&>

I am now no longer receiving all notifications despite nothing having changed on my profile. I get them for some topics but not others and not for PMs  ??? Any ideas Dan?
Our holding has Anglo Nubian and British Toggenburg goats, Gotland sheep, Franconian Geese, Blue Swedish ducks, a whole load of mongrel hens and two semi-feral children.

Sorry about that, nothing had changed in the forum configuration but we have started seeing intermittent issues with outbound emails.

I've changed the settings today and tested successfully, so hopefully notifications should all be sent and received now.

Please let me know if you're still not getting them.

Yep, I had noticed that I don't get notifications of PM's anymore either.
