What a gorgeous looking chap! Just came across this thread, so great that his story at least is a happy one!

Maybe he's got some Maine Coon in him?
That is what we are thinking as he has other Maine Coon characteristics too.  I definitely know he came from a bog standard feral mother though so daddy must have been a bit of posh!!  ;)
Wow, he's long enough to be act as an excellent draft excluder when he lies against your doors!  He is absolutely gorgeous
Brilliant!  Think I'll start training him now :roflanim:

Mouse is the image of our outdoor cat 'Mighty Mac'.  He came from a farm too - not exactly feral but pretty rough living (they don't believe in using vets).   Such a lovely story, I'm so pleased your hard work paid off

He certainly is a special to us DBE.  He's teething at the moment though and, boy, do we know it.  He is now as big as our adult cats at just 5 months old and they don't appreciate his Cato (Inspector Clouseau's butler) style ambushes.  He hides behind doors and flies through the air at them then runs away.  The others are very patient with him despite his size and it is easy to imagine them just rolling their eyes  ::) .
Most recent pic - so angelic  ;)

So very gorgeous. I wonder if he knows how lucky he was to be born on your land.

Thank you for your lovely comments.  He is a lovely kitten though rather naughty at the moment.  Think he is paying us back for having him castrated on Monday. He gets up to all sorts of cheeky kitten stuff but has no idea how big and heavy he is now.  The other cats run a mile when they see him awake as they know they are going to get flattened by him pouncing on them.  He is nearly five and a half months old now and much bigger than our female adult cats and the same size as our adult males.  He is going to be a beast when he is full grown. Hope he stays as soppy and cuddly as he is now with me.
