I'm glad all has turned out ok.
 
Carr's do a coarse mix called 'Champion Tup' which seems to be pretty much the same as their old 'Tup and Lamb' - we feed all our sheep on that, ewes as well as tups, as we don't need the high protein content for our primitives, and they love the variety of bits in it.   Using the same for all saves mistakes with the males
