You can't upload files from an iOS device (iPad or iPhone) from any website using standard web forms. It sucks, and Apple have never really explained exactly why... :-\

I'm working on making it possible to email photos to the TAS site from the Photos app and have them attach to a forum post or site comment, but it won't be ready any time soon. Our only alternative would be a TAS app or to use a third party forum app.

For now if you can email them to me (dan@tas.re) and I can post them on your behalf. :) Or use Flickr or similar and link to them.

I use Photobucket MammyShaz, since I can't post them on any forum I belong to with the iPad directly.
Photobucket is very simple for the technologically challenged (me!)

Oh no, that is not good. I've a stack of piccies I was keeping to show off.  Big gsd with little kitten, new hen quarters, polytunnels just built etc.

We've been busy this year and I was looking forward to sharing our work once I sorted out how to place the piccies  :-\  :-\

Thanks for the offer of the potato piccies dan. I will send them if you don't mind too much  :eyelashes:  :eyelashes:

Well, if you can bear the two part process, you load your iPad pics into Photobucket, then you post the IMG code Photobucket gives you into your post on here.
So you can do it, it's just a bit of a palaver.

Apparently iOS6 (due for release "in the autumn") will be able to upload photos using standard web forms.

Yes, you download it as an app  :)

I hope that happens Dan  Mind you, I haven't installed the last update, as it loses half my stuff everytime. Since Apple are clever enough to avoid this happening (happens on the iPhone too) I can only conclude they don't care  >:(
