Thick skinned pig?
« on: July 08, 2012, 08:32:15 pm »
How thick is a pigs skin?
My guess is that their hide and layer of fat is pretty thick.
Has anyone had a pig bitten by a snake.
I saw a sod off big adder near their pasture today and worry that they may get a bite.
Not sure what to do except return to the same spot at the same time and take a shovel to the adder. Not my first choice of action but my vote goes with pig over snake,
Any suggestion?

I think it's pretty unlikely to happen. Adders are very timid and usually bugger off sharpish when approached.
