Happy Birthday to me! :)

  got the nibbles in, need to prepare the veggies, cheese & pineapple  & cook the cocktail sausages.
my lovely friends are bringing things & making a cake, one is bringing his own milk! (its ok, my o/h will put goats milk in his coffee, just to see if he notices!)

thanks for all the ideas folks, I'll raise a toast (or slice of bread & butter pudding!) to you....

We had cheese, pinapple,mini-toms, silverskin onions,hot-dog sausage and gherkins all on sticks with diff combinations....or you could give out empty sticks and let people stab their own (if you know what I mean)


I remember eating half boiled eggs (yolk scooped out, mixed with mayo and put back) made into sail boats with a triangle half of plastic cheese  on a cocktail stick as a sail.....we thought it was posh back then.

and of course sarnies without crusts ...how extravagant!
