Got delayed in the spudrace  too busy and knackered making real manure composts, making up the new lawns ready for seeding ( done this afternoon 0 ansd sowing seeds in trays and pots .
my spuds should get done tomorrow easter monday if the weather allows me
I'll be using "Anya "  seed  which is full of eyes and is I think a fingerling early spud

The other is Rooster seed which is a smooth skinned red early variety
I also have four supemarket Maris Piper's.

I tried to find some good old fashioned King Edwards but they are scarce round here.
My seeds & the supermarket stuff were set chitting on 27 Jan and they only just look ready for planting .
I'll weigh them before planting them .

The spuds in the two bags in the greenhouse are three inches tall , the  spuds in the two bags outside have yet to make an appearance.

Mine are over three feet high, well clear of the top of the sack, but I did start before the official starting date.
You can warm them up with some fresh grass cuttings, used as a mulch or surrounding the plastic sack.
I wonder if that's cheating; hope there's not going to be dope test.
