Hi .I have Oxford Sandy and Blacks and live in a rural area of Essex I see lots of sugar beet grown in the area and see a lot of wastage left on the ground after loading if I could scrounge the leftovers is it ok to feed to the pigs with it .I know its probably ok but just need someone to confirm it. Hi Trevor,
Yes pigs love it, they will play with whole ones for ages and gradually eat it . Sometimes I chop them with a spade before throwing them in the pen.
