Boer goats in Normandy. France
« on: October 23, 2011, 10:20:04 am »
Hi all.

We moved over to France a couple of years ago and found ourselves a small farm in the Swiss Normande.  Both my wife and i have a passion have horses so this was a dream come true!

About a year ago i decided to invest in a 100% Boer goat buck in the hope of slowly building up a small herd.  One year on,  I now have three more doe's and hope to have homebred boers for next spring.  Originally they where just going to be for our own consumption, as they are fantastic for their meat!  but having had soooo much trouble  finding any in France i have decided to Breed high quality Boers in the hope to help others build up their own herds.

It would be great to find other Boer owners or people that have had the same problems as i have.

Thx Jackster
