Boris is sold
« on: October 09, 2011, 09:55:00 pm »
I made the decision to sell Boris a few months ago and yesterday we sold him. He's going to a lovely home with 4 sows so he will be getting much more work. He goes in 3 weeks as he's currently serving my friends sow but I'm pleased he's going to a good home. Sad to see him go but best for him.

Well done on finding him a nice, working home.
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

Indeed he will be pleased. He's actually got a lady visiting right now who was welcomed very very enthusiastically ! The people buying him were given a demonstration of how enthusiastic he is about his job.. One sales technique I guess.. Lol! :pig: :pig:
